Blurb

My name is Relma White (on the Internet), or Amulya Mohan (IRL)¹. I move Heaven and Earth for fledgling games I become Beholden to. I’m a theoretical Computer Scientist² by education , but in addition I serve as a Secondary Vessel to games I personally am captivated by.

From Theory to Practice

After my undergrad³, I worked in Big Tech a few years. A bit dull, but it payed well. Then COVID happened, and I, like everyone, found myself utterly alone.

Tragic Backstory?

That… was when Roseblight found me. It changed my life. It saved my life. A fledgling game with the promise to ignite the very Cultural Lexicon. And I was its (self-appointed) support role Charged to ensure that happened.
But it failed. Badly. Largely through my own actions, but not entirely. It is a story too long and too painful to recount, but suffice to say, I must make it right somehow.

As a Muse Hunter

Now, I informally scout for Pineapple Works. (Not officially employed!). And I follow the steps in my Charge to do it, so that one day I may have a hand in the promise of Divine Inspiration entering the Cultural Lexicon. I seek out games in demo phase that are Inspired, and I try to amplify these games at any opportunity; and this blog is a place for me to do that.

Inspirations

Primarily I admire the character of Mr. White from That Thing You Do!⁴ I want to be a kind of A&R person for indie games.
